Greater Annecy is entering a decisive phase in its town and country planning with the opening of the public enquiry into the inter-communal Local Urban Plan for Housing, Mobility and Climate Change (PLUi-HMB). This major step will take place from 19 May to 27 June 2025, and will give everyone - residents, businesses and associations - the opportunity to have their say on this strategic document.

A turning point for local urban planning

The result of four years' work and consultation, the PLUi-HMB aims to harmonise urban planning across the conurbation. It will eventually replace the 29 local PLUs and the PLUi for the Pays d'Alby. The public enquiry is the final stage before final adoption, scheduled for December 2025.

Why is this important?

The PLUi-HMB sets out the main guidelines for housing, mobility, the environment and urban development for the coming years. It will have a direct impact on construction projects, building regulations and urban development zones in all the municipalities concerned.

How can you get involved?

For 40 days, citizens and local players will be able to :

  • Consult the complete dossier:

    • Online on the Greater Annecy website

    • In hard copy at the head office of Greater Annecy and at 10 other survey locations

    • At each town hall in the conurbation (with documents relating to the commune)

  • Express their opinion:

    • By writing in the digital register

    • By email via the dedicated address

    • On the paper registers available at the survey locations

    • By post to the following address
      Grand Annecy - Projet PLUi-HMB - 46 avenue des Îles - BP 90270 - 74007 ANNECY CEDEX - FRANCE

    • In person, at the meetings held by the enquiry commission

⚠️ Please note: Only contributions submitted between 19 May and 27 June 2025 will be taken into account.

Where can you meet the enquiry commission?

Meetings will be held at 11 locations, including :

  • The head office of Greater Annecy in Annecy

  • The delegated town halls of Seynod and Pringy

  • Cusy, Fillière, Groisy, Argonay, Poisy, Sevrier, Talloires-Montmin town halls

  • The SIPA centre at Alby-sur-Chéran

Exact dates and times are available on the dedicated survey platform.

What happens next?

Once the enquiry is closed, the commission will draw up a report and issue its conclusions within 30 days. The project may then be adjusted to take account of the opinions expressed. It will then be submitted to the Community Council for final approval in December 2025.
