A highly original high-end construction project is being unveiled in Dubai: the "Floating Seahorses". These triplexes consist of two floors above the sea... and one completely submerged level, from which you can admire the underwater world!
Fall asleep counting fish!
The United Arab Emirates is no stranger to innovative architectural projects. The brainchild of European architects, these luxurious villas are spread over three levels and offer their future owners an exceptional view of underwater activity through large bay windows. They will be able to fall asleep in the midst of the world of silence, or even take an underwater bath!
So as not to lose any of the concept of immersion in an aquatic environment, the upper levels at the surface of the water have numerous glass slabs for admiring the fish from the jacuzzi or mini bar.
The floating villas are due to open at the end of 2016. The project is made up of a set of 42 properties with a price tag of around one million euros. Unfortunately, the visuals do not show the opposite effect of the villas being so close together.
Closer to a boat than a house, these atypical buildings will undoubtedly form part of the artificial archipelago known as The World, created in 2003 by Prince Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum. The project is located in the European sector of the archipelago, known as "The Heart of Europe".
A project to rescue a neglected archipelago
It should be pointed out that The World, with its 300 islands currently unoccupied, is in need of some publicity. The aim of this project is to breathe new life into the archipelago, which was neglected between 2007 and 2009 as a result of the economic crisis. The purchase of 35 floating villas has already been agreed with European and Indian buyers.
