From 1 June 2025: new regulations for Greater Annecy
In order to preserve the balance between tourism and local housing, Greater Annecy is introducing a new system from 1 June 2025 to regulate changes of use of accommodation as furnished tourist accommodation, particularly for second homes.
This measure, introduced as part of the Le Meur Law no. 2024-1039 of 19 November 2024, aims to better control the boom in short-term rentals.
🛑 Which communes are affected?
The new procedure will apply to all 27 communes in the conurbation, with the exception of:
Montagny-les-Lanches, La Chapelle-Saint-Maurice, Gruffy, Entrevernes, Héry-sur-Alby, Menthon-Saint-Bernard and Viuz-La-Chiesaz.
